I wish I were a tree,
It sounds so good to be,
To grow and grow and grow
And never, ever go;
To touch the big blue sky
And feel the breeze go by;
To hear the birdies sing
And sing along in spring.
A tree I wish I was,
To hear the bees's buzz;
A wonderful big tree,
That's what I wish to be;
To hear the rivers flow,
To see the nature grow,

To feel forever free.
That's why I wish to be
